ME!

I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil! I started out copying from books of Tales of Farthing Wood and developing my style from around age 7.

I studied Fine Art at college but I am mainly self taught, enjoying doing what I want to do rather than conforming to what was expected of me to pass an exam.

​I have won the Artist of the Year award from the Prestige Awards for 20/21 and 21/22 and my trophy is proudly sitting where I can see it. It gives me great pleasure to know what I am creating is giving others happiness.

​My form is usually illustrative and as realistic as possible to capture the soul and personality of the subject. I think the eyes are the most important as that makes the animal the loving individual that they are.

​I work from home in my studio in Leicestershire, UK with my staffie Missy by my feet..
